Out of a squad of 12 with only 1 players under the age of 30, Watford Bengals lost to USL Rams of Luton 6-2 after being 1 nil down at half time, in a blisttering hot day at Queens School. Goals from Nazim and debutant, Talha's deflected shot, ensured a better display and scoreline since the two clubs previous meeting in 2006.

* COPA MK 7-a-side Tournament, Sunday 14th June 2009 - Watford Bengals debuted in the annaul Copa MK 7-a-side tournament in Milton Keynes. The club only had 7 fit available players consisting of an average age of 32. The team played five group matches with a record of 1 win, 2 draws and 2 loses. What was more shocking than Abas keeping 3 clean sheets, was Abdul being top goal scorer with a solitary one goal!
