HISTORY

This site is dedicated to the very part time team called Watford Bengals FC and the players who have played for the club.

The club was formed in 1999 due to low turn outs down Radlett Road playing fields on Sundays, as some resturant workers couldn't be bothered to turn up every week. So it was decided that those locals who did turn up every week will form an 11-a-side team and play some competitive matches.

For a bunch of casual players and limited numbers, the team performed okay in its first summer, but everyone will remember that Sunday afternoon at King Georges Playing Fields against the mighty MK Durbar from Milton Keynes.

The team has played at Luton, Milton Keynes, Northampton and Oldham. Now the club would play in the odd tournament and play a few 11-a-side friendlies each summer.
